Variety reports that
Jena Malone has been cast opposite Luke Grimes (Shit Year) and Chloe Sevigny (Big Love) in Blash's new independent thriller titled,
"The Wait."Luke Grimes ("Shit Year") has been set as the male lead opposite Chloe Sevigny and Jena Malone in director/writer M. Blash's "The Wait."
Neil Kopp and Ryan Crisman are producing with principal photography beginning this week in Portland, Ore.
The film follows two sisters who decide to keep their deceased mother in the house after receiving a call that she will come back to life. Grimes will portray a philosophical and enigmatic man who becomes smitten with Malone's character.
Sevigny and Malone also starred in Blash's drama "Lying." Grimes recently starred on "Brothers and Sisters."
