P&P Couple Sighting!

New candid photos of former Pride & Prejudice stars Keira Knightley (25) and long time love Rupert Friend (29), best known to us, P&P fans, as the unlikely pair (in the P&P movie) Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Wickham. These real-life couple has been together since probably even before the movie was released back in 2005. It's amazing that they're still together more than five years now, but had kept their relationship on the down low and private as possible. Neither one talks about the other in interviews (unless it's about their short films together). Though pictures don't lie...they're very much together (and had been since P&P movie was released 5 years ago and apparently love working together as they appeared in 3 films: Pride & Prejudice, The Continuing and Lamentable Saga of The Suicide Brothers, and ), but it's great that they keep their relationship quiet and private as possible. Love them for that and that's what keeps them separate from those high profile, but short (and unhappily ever after) Hollywood romances. Will there be a wedding bells anytime soon or in their future? Only time will tell. I wish them both all the best and hope they stay in love and together for a very long time.

Anyway, here are their new pics together out and about, holding hand, and strolling through east London last week (October 3rd). Looks like Keira's not the only one with a new short do, Rupert looks to have a new and even shorter haircut himself. How cute! I think he looks handsome with short hair. They look great together and even younger too with their new haircut, don't they?

Speaking of the handsome Rupert Friend, he was also at the Never Let Me Go - Afterparty: 54th BFI London Film Festival to show support of his former P&P co-stars Keira Knightley (his girlfriend of course) and Carey Mulligan as they premiered their new film, Never Let Me Go at LFF. Next week, he will likely be back with KK at LFF to premiere his new short film, Steve, which he directed and also featured Keira, Colin Firth (as the title role), and friend Tom Mison.

Keira Knightley's 'Last Night' film to close at Toronto Film Festival

Posted by Le on Thursday, August 19, 2010

As previously posted here, Keira Knightley's Last Night co-stars Eva Mendes and Sam Worthington both mentioned in their recent interviews that their new film with Keira will premiere at this year's Toronto Film Festival and now it's confirmed that it will be, indeed, as it was just announced Tuesday at TIFF 2010's newest press release (with a new still on top ^ to your left): Toronto International Film Festival Adds New Galas And Special Presentations To Its High-Calibre Line-Up

Galas
Closing Night Film
Last Night Massy Tadjedin, USA/France World Premiere
A married couple are apart for a night when the husband takes a business trip with a colleague to whom he's attracted. While he's away, his wife encounters her past love. The film stars Keira Knightley, Eva Mendes, Sam Worthington and Guillaume Canet.

More Last Night Info (after the cut)...

Keira Knightley
and Eva Mendes join forces in this tantalizing and emotionally powerful story of trust, lust and deception. Last Night is a brilliant evocation of all the grey zones of fidelity – how a choice made in a mere instant can be of regrettable and irrevocable consequence.

Michael and Joanna Reed (Sam Worthington and Knightley) seem to have it all. Young, attractive and successful, they’re a married couple who’ve lucked into spiritual and material well-being, sharing a comfortable and seemingly perfect life in their trendy Manhattan apartment. But when the Reeds attend one of Michael’s work parties, Joanna witnesses a suspicious moment between her husband and his beautiful new co-worker, Laura (Eva Mendes). The incident is fleeting and ambiguous – Joanna can’t be sure what she did or didn’t see – but it sows an insidious seed of doubt that festers at the core of their love.

Another Keira Knightley film that will be premiering in a special presentation at TIFF 2010 will be her new film Never Let Me Go (which opens in U.S. theaters September 15th) with former P&P co-star/4th Bennet sister Carey Mulligan.

Also, check out a new photo of Keira in period costume on the set of her upcoming film, A Dangerous Method, which she co-stars with Michael Fassbender (who co-starred with Kelly Reilly in 2008's Eden Lake and is co-starring with Judi Dench and in the new Jane Eyre 2011 film) and Viggo Mortensen for a 2011 release.

Speaking of Keira...a lil' OT/KK gossip here, lol...
