The UK's BBC Radio 4 has posted a new still of Rosamund Pike in the BBC Four new drama (part of their new Modern Love Season) Women In Love, which will premiere on BBC Four at 9pm on the 24th (part 1) and 31st (part 2) of March.

William Ivory, screenplay writer of Made In Dagenham (in which Rosamund Pike co-starred with her An Education co-star Sally Hawkins), talks BBC Radio 4's Front Row about adapting the DH Lawrence classics Women in Love and The Rainbow, into a two-part television drama titled Women In Love starring Rosamund Pike and Rory Kinnear.

Listen to an audio of BBC Radio 4's Front Row: William Ivory on Women In Love
(FYI: There were three different topics in the audio, but just listen to the part of WOMEN IN LOVE interview with William Ivory as he discusses adapting Women in Love for TV. It includes an audio clip of Rosamund Pike!)

New 'Women In Love' still featuring Rosamund Pike

Posted by Le on Monday, February 7, 2011

Although the new BBC4 drama Women In Love starring Rosamund Pike is still coming up soon possibly sometime in the spring or early autumn of this year, a new production still featuring RP (see image to your left) has recently been added on the Women In Love page on BBC.

Also, the following info about....

Women In Love

Rosamund Pike, Rachael Stirling, Rory Kinnear and Joseph Mawle star in Women In Love, a compelling new two-part drama by William Ivory. Based on two novels by DH Lawrence – The Rainbow and Women In Love – which Lawrence originally intended to publish as one, Ivory has melded the books together in line with the author's original vision as part of BBC Four's new Modern Love Season.

Women In Love charts the lives and loves of two sisters, Ursula (Stirling) and Gudrun Brangwen (Pike), viewed chiefly through their relationships with two friends Rupert Birkin (Kinnear) and Gerald Crich (Mawle). As the two relationships intensify the couples leave the Midlands and go abroad together, leading to conflict and tragedy.

The cast also includes Saskia Reeves as Ursula and Gudrun's mother, Anna; Ben Daniels as Anna's husband Will; and Olivia Grant as Hermione.
BBC Four has not released a trailer yet nor a premiere date, but as soon as they do, I'll keep you all posted. In the meantime, you can check out the Preview Clips (as well as screen caps) featuring RP, I previously posted a while back, if you missed them.
