Carey Mulligan and Keira Knightley's new film 'Never Let Me Go' is now completed with a release date!

Never Let Me Go starring former Pride & Prejudice co-stars and Oscar Nominated actresses Carey Mulligan and  Keira Knightley is now completed with a theatrical release date of October 1st, 2010! The trailer is coming soon too! This is great! Can't wait to see the trailer! Last year we got to see two of the five Bennet sisters/P&P co-stars Carey (Kitty) and Rosamund Pike (Jane) in the festival darling and 4-time Academy award nominated film, An Education...this year we are going to see another pair of the Bennet girls with Carey (Kitty) again and this time she is co-starring with Keira (Elizabeth "Lizzie") in this film, Never Let Me Go.

Anyway, director Mark Romanek (One Hour Photo), on his twitter page, last week (May 21st) announced this info about the status of this film:

NEVER LET ME GO is finally done and has a release date. It will appear in select cities starting October 1. Trailer on its way very soon.

He also added/tweeted...

Sorry I dont have the UK or European release dates for Never Let Me Go, but I do know they will be on or around the US date of October 1.

An alternate history story of a woman who, as she reflects on her private school years in the English countryside, reunites with her two friends to face the dark secrets tied to their communal past.

Co-starring in this film are Andrew Garfield and Persuasion's  (who previously appeared in An Education with Carey and Rosamund. She also co-stars with Rosamund in another upcoming film, Made in Dagenham as well as in the new Jane Eyre film with Judi Dench and ).
