Carey Mulligan, Colin Firth, and The King's Speech won big at BIFA 2010!

Posted by Le on Sunday, December 5, 2010

The thirteenth annual Moët British Independent Film Awards (BIFA) was held earlier tonight and our Carey Mulligan (with Colin Firth | photo by Bauer Griffin) won for Best Actress (Never Let Me Go), Colin Firth for Best Actor (The King's Speech), and CF's film, The King's Speech won 5 BIFA including CF's Best Actor award and his co-star Helena Bonham Carter for Best Supporting Actress, which our P&P/Bennet girls Keira Knightley (Never Let Me Go) and Rosamund Pike (Made In Dagenham) both nominated in the same Best Supporting Actress category, but both lost to HBC!

Congrats to Carey Mulligan (FYI: Carey won Best Actress last year for An Education too!), Colin Firth, Helena Bonham Carter, and The King's Speech for their BIFA win!!!

New photos of Carey Mulligan and Rosamund Pike (at long last...together this time!) coming up shortly!
