Pike said the harbour city was chosen for the world premiere of the British film because Atkinson has so many fans in Australia.
"(Also) I think it did very well, the first one out here, so I think we wanted to open somewhere where we'd be guaranteed a warm reception, which is certainly true of today," she said.Pike was not just referring to the crowds of cheering fans but the sunshine and blue skies they were blessed with.
